A New Old Album by OK Go

A New Old Album by OK Go

As the great rock and roll prophet Ringo Starr once sang, “time takes time,” and so—especially—do albums. While OK Go has spent the last year crafting their forthcoming fourth full-length like a neon smoke-shooting laser-guided ship in a bottle, we here at Paracadute combed through old harddrives and shared Dropbox accounts in search of particularly choice OK Go demos, outtakes, covers, live tracks, and other. We even ended up including a brand new OK Go tune, “I’m Not Through,” released in conjunction with Saatchi and Saatchi’s Music Video Challenge. Putting out the songs once a month to the band’s fans by way of the mailing list, with annotations from the members of the band, the end result is something like a freestanding album of its own. And we do mean free. Download the Twelve Months of OK Go here.
